Two benchmarks, same dataset, same questions. A classic one: 150 M fintech-style records. And one built for agents: the same 1024-dimension memory squeezed from 4 GB down to 256 MB.

The harness is public, so you don't have to take our word for it.

xyzDB boots in 17 MiB and takes 2.3× less disk than Postgres. It isn't a config trick: it's what happens when you replace a stack — database, vector store and cache — with a single binary. It fits at the edge, in serverless, and performs on mechanical disks — the cheap, plentiful ones.
